New Zealand sealed their place in the semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 after their latest victory over Pakistan. The Black Caps have won all the three matches and lead Group 2 with six points and will play their last match against Bangladesh.

Kane Williamson's side posted a total of 180 for 5, with Martin Guptill the star player with the bat. The opener's 80 off 48 balls and Ross Taylor's unbeaten 36 down the order were the key performances for New Zealand.

Pakistan had a good start from their openers Ahmed Shehzad and Sharjeel Khan, before the latter was dismissed for 47. Shahid Afridi's side lost wickets quickly and that also slowed down the pace of the game, resulting in 22 run defeat.

IBTimes UK has complied some Twitter reactions after New Zealand's victory over Pakistan in their Group 2 fixture.

We can't turn the ball on a made-for-spinners-pitch. We can't bat on a batting-heaven pitch. Wow #PAKvNZ
