Google is rolling out a new update to its Pixel series that it says would address critical bugs and improve the performance and stability of the devices.

At 216.6MB in size, the update increases the build version of the phones to NPF26J, which according to the some Redditors, carries a build date of 26 October.

Along with security patches, the update brings two new "Moves", which are Double-tap to check phone and lift to check phone. Both the gestures are enabled by default, but you can always disable them by going to Settings>> Move.

So what are these gestures? You can double tap your phone's screen to check notifications, and lift the phone to wake the screen and quickly check notifications. According to the folks at XDA, such features are already present in custom ROM and several original equipment manufacturers have already implemented them.

The update is currently seeding for users in Canada. Those living outside Canada who cannot wait can use the OTA links shared by XDA members. To flash the OTA links, all you need to do is just enter stock recovery mode on your phone and then do ADB sideload.
