The Prix Pictet, which is recognised as the world's leading prize for photography, aims to promote discussion and debate on issues of sustainability. Twelve photographers have made the shortlist for the seventh Prix Pictet, the theme of which is Space. The winner of the 100,000 Swiss Francs (£80,165) prize will be announced by Kofi Annan on 4 May 2017. An exhibition will go on show from 6 to 28 May 2017 at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London.
