When the CCTV footage of Solange Knowles throwing punches at Jay Z leaked in May 2014, people began speculating about the cause. Beyonce standing back and allowing her husband to get attacked by her sister led to suspicions that he had done something very bad.

At the time, many fans blamed Rachel Roy, the fashion designer and ex-wife of Jay Z's former partner Damon Dash, for trying to ruin the power couple's relationship.

One anonymous source told Hollywood Life: "Solange was defending Beyoncé in the elevator because Solange finds Jay's friendship with Rachel to be way too close for comfort and it makes Solange very uncomfortable.

"Beyoncé also confronted Rachel and said, 'Don't talk to my sister like that,' after [Rachel] confronted Solange."

Saturday night, when the queen of music aired her visual album Lemonade. The track that drew the most attention was Apathy. Commentators were quick to say Bey was talking about Jay Z cheating on her, as the 34-year-old superstar included the line "he better call Becky with the good hair".

Hours after Lemonade aired, Roy posted a photo of herself on her Instagram feed, captioning the video: "Good hair don't care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens."

The Beyhive were not pleased.

One Beyonce fan replied: " I swear it should have been you in the elevator!" and another posted, "You're really thirst and dehydrated."

And it didn't end there. The fashion designer's Instagram account is now private.
