Rafael Nadal takes on Andrey Kuznetsov in the men's singles third round clash of the 2016 US Open on Saturday (3 September).
Where to watch live
The match starts at 12am BST (early Saturday morning). Live coverage of the game will be available in the UK on British Eurosport 1 & 2. Live scores and regular updates will be available on US Open's official website.
World number five Rafael Nadal came into this tournament with questions over his fitness, but the Spaniard has put those doubts to rest, arguably playing the best tennis we have seen from him in sometime.
Nadal was dominant in the first round, thrashing Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin 6-1, 6-4, 6-2, while in the second round, facing a much more trickier opponent in Andreas Seppi, he showed that he is still a force to reckon with, capitilising on seven of the 15 break points while winning 15 of the 18 net points.
Nadal, who has won the event twice, has repeatedly stressed that he is taking one game at a time, but he will know at the back of the mind that he is becoming one of the favourites to clinch the title this year.
Andrey Kuznetsov, who displayed immense promise as a youngster has not been able to fulfill his potential on the world stage. However, the 25-year-old is showing signs of using his talent this season, reaching a career high ranking of 36 as well as going as far as the quarter-finals of the recently concluded Winston-Salem event.
The Russian who is yet to beat Nadal in an ATP event is unlikely to cause an upset on 2 September and will need to show more consistency in his play going ahead in the future.
