Rafael Nadal will take on Horacio Zeballos in the semi-final of the men's singles clash of the 2017 Barcelona Open at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona on Saturday, 29 April.

Nadal had a good start to the calendar year, but failed to win any silverware in the first three months. He lost to Roger Federer in the 2017 Australian Open and Miami Open final.
However, the 30-year-old lifted his first trophy when he won the Monte-Carlo Masters after defeating his compatriot Albert Ramos Vinolas in the final. It was an easy win for the Spaniard as the match ended in straight sets.
The former world number one is looking for a second title, this time in Barcelona. He has won the competition for a record nine times and is currently the defending champion. He can extend the record if he manages to win the final on Sunday.
Nadal has not dropped a set so far in the tournament. He will be hoping to have a similar run when he takes on the Argentine in the second semi-final clash on Saturday. A victory will help him edge closer towards winning the Barcelona Open.
Nadal defeated South Korea's Chung Hyeon in the quarter-final clash. Zeballos made it to the last four after registering a comfortable victory over Russian player Karen Khachanov.
The winner of the clash will face either world number one Andy Murray or Dominic Thiem in the final of the 2017 Barcelona Open on Sunday.
