Rapper Kanye West Moves to London to Pursue Couture Career (PHOTOS)

American rapper-singer Kanye West is reportedly shifting his base to London, UK, to further pursue his dreams of being a fashion designer.

The Grammy award winner, who has been studying fashion at Central Saint Martins College in London, seems to be confident about his future as a designer in the fashion capital of London.

Although, he flew back to the U.S. this Christmas, he reportedly told an associate that he has become very attached to London and is ready to make the place his new home.

Kanye, 34, first ventured into the fashion arena on Jan. 22, 2009, when he introduced his first shoe line designed for Louis Vuitton during the Paris Fashion Week.

In October 2011, the designer premiered his women's fashion label, DW Kanye West at the Paris Fashion Week. Although, Kanye received support from the likes of DSquared2 duo Dean and Dan Caten, Olivier Theyskens, Jeremy Scott, Azzedine Alaïa and the Olsen twins, his show got mixed-to-negative reviews.

However, West was far from being dissuaded by the reviews and instead opted to pursue a course in designing to further his career in the field.
