Antoine Griezmann reveals his ambition to play for Real Madrid

Arsenal and Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann is also on the radar of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, according to reports in France.

The Real Sociedad attacking midfielder, who is able to play as an out-and-out striker, is one of the most coveted players in world football today.

Griezmann has been gaining a reputation as a potential star this season, and many believe he is now ready to play for one of the top clubs in Europe.

But the Spanish side is not going to let him go easily. In fact, Arsenal have already made a £12.5m bid for Griezmann but Real Sociedad refused that offer because the youngster is expected to fetch a £25m fee if he decides to leave Anoeta.

Despite the links to Arsenal and their previous bid, the France under-21 international harbours a dream of playing for Real Madrid. Griezmann even admitted in an interview that his game would be well suited to the Premier League but admitted that if he had to choose his next destination, it would be the Santiago Bernabeu.

Griezmann has scored an impressive 15 goals in 23 league appearances thus far this season helping Real Sociedad to maintain their ambition of earning a Champions League place. The Frenchman is the joint fourth highest scorer in La Liga with Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez, behind Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and Atletico's Diego Costa.

Since his breakthrough season in 2009, Griezmann has been a key part of Sociedad. The midfielder helped the club to win promotion in his first season as well as qualifying for the Champions League last time out.

Aside from Real Madrid, Arsenal and Manchester United, a host of other clubs have shown interest in the 22-year-old including PSG, Monaco and Juventus.
