Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the fourth match of the 2016 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on 12 April.

Where to watch live

Match starts at 3.30pm BST/8pm IST. Live coverage of the game is available on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD in the UK. Sony Max, Sony Six and Sony ESPN will telecast it live in India.

Overview

Royal Challengers Bangalore always start as one of the favourites to make it to the play-offs owing to their explosive batting lineup, which includes Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. They have now added Shane Watson to the roster making them one of the teams with the strongest batting lineup in the competition. However, despite making four finals, they are yet to win the competition and will be keen to make this right this season.

As good as their batting looks, they are light on the bowling front following the withdrawal of Mitchell Stark due to injury. They are left without a frontline wicket taking pacer. Adam Milne is in the squad, but is unlikely to be used ahead of Samuel Badree, who put on a great show in the recently concluded T20 World Cup in India.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, have a balanced side with both their batting and bowling department looking well stocked with quality exponents of the T20 game. Ashish Nehra, Trent Boult, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Karn Sharma will be their main bowlers, while David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Eoin Morgan and Yuvraj Singh will be their main threats in the batting department.

The Chinnaswamy Stadium pitch in Bangalore is known to be a great batting track, and with the ground being small, it is likely to be a high-scoring affair. Fans will surely hope for one, and with Gayle and Warner on either side they could be in for a treat.
