A satirical website calling for Barron Trump to be drafted into military service went live on March 3, 2026, created by former South Park writer Toby Morton in the days after the U.S. airstrikes in Iran.

The site, draftbarrontrump.com, pitches the 19-year-old NYU student as 'more than ready to defend the country his father so boldly commands.' No official response from the Trump family or the White House has been reported, and the US has no active draft, though young men must register for Selective Service.

President Trump's Operation Epic Fury airstrikes in Iran kicked off over the weekend, drawing instant online reaction from the predictable mix of supporters and critics. Morton's stunt slots right into that, even if the site itself steers clear of mentioning the strikes directly.

Barron Trump Becomes Satire's Latest Target

Draftbarrontrump.com hits with a straight-faced pitch that collapses into mockery almost immediately. The landing page says, 'America is strong because its leaders are strong. President Trump proves that every day. Naturally, his son Barron is more than ready to defend the country his father so boldly commands. Service is honor. Strength is inherited.' It caps that off with 'Dog Bless Barron,' a line that feels like a deliberate fumble for extra bite.

The About Us page further widens the lens, stating, 'This site is dedicated to honoring the strongest and bravest voices in war. When power is projected abroad, it is only right that strength exists at home. If you're looking for proven genes, inherited courage, and unquestionable resolve, look no further than the Trump family. Leadership starts somewhere.'

That setup tees up the real hook: fake testimonials from Trump relatives that read like they were typed with one hand on the keyboard and the other flipping off the screen. Donald Trump Jr's spoof entry goes, 'This moment is really about Barron, okay? Always has been. He represents strength, courage, and service. I'll be honoring that sacrifice in my own way, mainly by talking about it from a safe distance.'

Outlets like the Daily Beast and Hindustan Times picked it up fast, framing it as a jab timed to the Iran news cycle. No one seems to take the 'draft' call at face value, which is the point. Morton has not issued fresh comments on this one, at least not in the coverage so far.

Toby Morton's History of Domain Trolling

Morton's résumé gives away why this lands with such precision. He voiced characters in a handful of early-2000s South Park episodes and wrote for Mad TV during its 2006–2007 run, credits that scream irreverent comedy more than political heavyweight. These days, he calls himself the 'Creator of anti-fascist websites', a tagline that shows up in profiles of his work.

This is not his first swing. He has built parody domains aimed at Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Mace, and Elon Musk, per multiple reports. Then there was the Kennedy Center play. Morton snapped up trumpkennedycenter.org and trumpkennedycenter.com back in late 2025, ahead of Trump's push to rebrand the DC arts venue. In a Deadline interview from December 2025, he explained, 'I thought, Yep, that name's going on the building,' adding, 'The rest followed on schedule.'

He teased that the sites would 'absolutely reflect the absurdity of the moment. Lots of surprises. Some things are truly hard to parody, though.' Sure enough, Trump's appointees on the new board voted to rename it 'The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.'

Breitbart called the Barron site launch 'vile' in its headline, while others treat it as just another troll in the endless Trump satire wars.
