Antonio Brown's OnlyFans Debut Draws Backlash as Fans Question Hall of Fame Future

Former NFL receiver Antonio Brown has announced he is launching an OnlyFans account while declaring he will enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027, his first year of eligibility, a move that has triggered online criticism and fresh debate over his legacy.

Brown's claim comes despite the fact that only Hall of Fame selectors, not players, decide who is enshrined in Canton, Ohio.

Brown is not yet a Hall of Famer. He is expected to become eligible for the Class of 2027, provided he does not return to the NFL, but it will be the Pro Football Hall of Fame's selectors, not Brown, who decide whether he is elected for enshrinement in Canton.

Antonio Brown's OnlyFans Announcement

In a video posted to his Instagram account, Brown announced his OnlyFans plans and predicted he would enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2027. He said: 'I'm Antonio Brown and I have some big news. 2027, I will be in the Hall of Fame. That means I'll be the first Hall of Famer on OnlyFans.'

Brown's Instagram bio includes a Linkme link directing users to an OnlyFans page under the handle @abgoat84. The page is titled 'Antonio Brown' and advertises exclusive content, custom videos, video chats, signed memorabilia and special requests.

Brown also directed people interested in collaborating to contact his manager, Jordan Linz. The caption on the Instagram post gave 2 September 2026 as the intended launch date, while the video showed Brown wearing his Super Bowl ring in front of a luxury car.

The former receiver also used the phrase 'first hall of famer to pull out the tape' and promoted a 'full vid'. However, the publicly available information does not establish the nature of any content behind the subscription page, so it should not be described beyond Brown's own wording.

Fans Debate Brown's NFL Legacy

Social-media reaction to Brown's post was mixed, with some commenters openly critical of his latest venture.

One response called it 'just sad, man', while others described the move as another stage in what they viewed as Brown's 'downfall'.

The attention reflects the tension at the centre of Brown's legacy.

His playing record makes him a credible Hall of Fame candidate, but his final years in and around the NFL have ensured that his future candidacy remains debated among supporters.

Antonio Brown's Football Record

Brown recorded 928 receptions for 12,291 receiving yards and 83 receiving touchdowns across 12 NFL seasons. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls, named first-team All-Pro four times, included in the NFL's 2010s All-Decade Team and won Super Bowl LV with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He led the NFL in receptions twice and receiving yards twice. His 15 receiving touchdowns in 2018 also led the league that season.

Brown's final NFL appearance came on 2 January 2022, when he removed parts of his uniform and left the field during Tampa Bay's game against the New York Jets. The Buccaneers released him four days later, and he has not played in the NFL since.

What the 2027 Process Involves

Eligibility does not guarantee election. For the Class of 2027, all former players who meet the five-year retirement requirement will be assessed in one Players category, regardless of how long they have been out of the NFL.

The field will be reduced to 50 nominees, 25 semi-finalists and 13 player finalists. One coach finalist and one contributor finalist will then be added, before selectors reduce the group to seven candidates for the final vote.

A candidate needs at least 80 per cent support from voting selectors to be elected. Brown will therefore have the opportunity to be assessed on his career record, but his own confidence about a place in Canton does not determine the outcome.
