Dilwale starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol is definitely one of the most highly-anticipated Bollywood films of 2015. The film's first song titled Gerua, was released recently, and received a thunderous response from fans worldwide.

The song was launched on Wednesday (18 November) in Mumbai and was trending in 62 countries across the world simultaneously. The official video got 1.6 million views on Facebook and 1.6 million on YouTube since its release, as per a statement.

The song features the ever-popular on-screen pairing of Khan and Kajol and boasts of some spectacular visuals. Shahrukh Khan giving full credit to the movie's director Rohit Shetty, stated: "Since Kajol and I are coming back together on-screen after years, Rohit felt that we should try and make Gerua stand out better than all the other songs we have done earlier. "

Speaking on how different Gerua would be from their earlier tracks, the actor shared, "It's all about the old world charm of Kajol and I but presented in a manner that is very much like Rohit Shetty. Shooting for the song was extremely difficult. It was cold and we could barely walk but Rohit made everything easy. When you have such a director who is always eager to help, the actors feel much at ease and eventually the song also turns out fabulous."

Dilwale's music director Pritam added that composing the romantic tracks for this film was "extremely special" for him as he regards SRK and Kajol "the greatest on-screen couple of our era".

Apart from Khan and Kajol, Dilwale stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Boman Irani in key roles. The film will be released on 18 December 2015. You can check out the first song from the film below:
