Survivor's Remorse season 2 premiere: Where to watch episode 1 live stream online

Starz' Entourage style show Survivor's Remorse premieres its second season on 22 August. After an encouraging response to the show's first season, the Network is looking at a longer, successful run for the series with season 2.

Survivor's Remorse is about Cam Calloway, a basketball star in his early 20s whose life changes drastically after he signs a multimillion-dollar contract with a team in Atlanta. Feeling a responsibility to support needy family and friends, Cam wrestles with the rewards and pitfalls of sudden wealth and fame.

In the second season, we see Cam and his cousin and confidant Reggie Vaughn continue trying to navigate Cam's meteoric rise. According to the official synopsis for Survivor's Remorse season 2 premiere episode, titled Grown-Ass Man, the Calloways have moved from the penthouse to a regal new mansion, and Cam's new contract and its serious clauses tie him tightly to owner Jimmy Flaherty, who wants to maximise Cam's time.

The show's lead actor Jessie T Usher, who plays Cam, recently spoke about what fans and viewers can expect from the show's season 2:

"With this season, things will take place during the basketball season. Last year, Cam was dealing the money and business side, and now he's more worried about the game and practice and making sure that he's ready," Usher told Blackfilm.

"He's worried about not getting injured or all that kind of stuff. There's a lot of conflict that's still happening between him and his family but not so much about 'What are we going to do?' and 'How do we handle this?' It's more about 'Leave me alone and let me do my job.' Beforehand, we were all not living together and not invested in this new lifestyle. Now he's dealing with so much more."

Apart from Usher, the series stars RonReaco Lee as Reggie Vaughn, Erica Ash as M-Chuck, sister to Cam; Teyonah Parris as Reggie's wife, Missy; Tichina Arnold as Cassie, Cam's mother; and Mike Epps as Cam's Uncle Julius.

The 10-episode second season of Survivor's Remorse premieres on Saturday, 22 August at 9.30pm ET on Starz.
