A YouTube video from Taipei zoo in Taiwan shows a baby panda refusing mum's orders to go to bed.

The video shows the baby panda, Yuan Zai, getting up and out of bed to explore when he should have been sleeping.

Footage shows his mother Yuan Yuan getting up and dragging him reluctantly back to bed.

According to Metro, the seven-month-old panda was so adamant she was not returning to bed, she went limp in an act of defiance, so his mother had to physically drag her along the floor.

Taipei zoo unveiled its newest panda cub in January. It was born in July.

After birth, Yuan Zai was separated from her mother for a few days. She was raised in an incubator after suffering a small leg injury.
