Tottenham Hotspur will take on Swansea City in the weekend Premier League clash at White Hart Lane on 28 February (Sunday).

Where to watch

Kick-off is set for 2:05pm GMT. Catch the highlights of the match on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm GMT.

Overview

Tottenham come into this fixture after registering a 3-0 victory over Fiorentina in the return leg of the Europa League 32 tie. The latest score helped them progress further in the competition with an aggregate score of 4-1 and they now face Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16 tie.

Mauricio Pochettino and his men must now focus their attention on the Premier League, especially considering the option that they can go on to win the league this season. They suffered a rare defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and now look to get back to winning ways against the Welsh cub on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Swansea enter this tie after a narrow 1-0 defeat they suffered at the hands of Southampton at the Liberty Stadium. Shane Long's 69th minute goal was the difference between the two sides.

They will be visiting north London as they face Tottenham and Arsenal in less than a week. A victory over Spurs in the league fixture will give Swansea a massive boost for the clash against the Gunners.

What managers say

Mauricio Pochettino: "I think it is important for us to keep the level and the performance that we showed against Fiorentina," he said. "It is true that the Premier League is a very tough competition — different to the FA Cup, Europa league or Capital One Cup — but we are ready to compete. I always explain that we need to be game by game and keep working hard. We need to feel very proud by how we have played this season."

Alan Curtis (assistant): "We know it's two really difficult games but it's important we compete, we can't give up in any of the games. You can't go into a game turning up for numbers, it's important we try to get something out of it and the performance has to be right."
