In a political landscape often defined by unwavering loyalty, a former high-ranking Turning Point USA (TPUSA) employee has broken ranks, sharing what's happening behind the scenes. Aubrey Laitsch, the organisation's former public relations manager, released a video sharing her side of the story about her termination.

According to Laitsch, she was let go not for poor performance but for questioning the death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk. However, her public defiance against the organisation she used to work for seemingly backfired.

Terminated Over Scepticism Regarding Charlie's Death

Laitsch took to X (formerly Twitter) to detail how TPUSA let her go. She clarified in the caption that she didn't make the video 'to be bitter,' instead, she just wanted 'to be honest.'

'I'm speaking up because I know I'm not the only one who's felt this way and our First Amendment right matters, too,' she wrote in the caption.

In the video, Laitsch mentioned how TPUSA fired several employees, especially in the media and marketing department. According to her, at least 40 people were terminated and they were 'the most loyal, hardworking, and honest individuals' she knew.

Unlike her colleagues, the organisation provided her with a reason for letting her go. However, she believed that they were not being honest with her.

'I just have a gut feeling that I was terminated from Turning Point because I am questioning the narrative of what happened to my role model and CEO, Charlie Kirk, on the day of his assassination,' Laitsch said. 'What is being told to us in the mainstream media just doesn't add up to me.'

According to her, she spoke with other individuals about her thoughts and feelings about Charlie's assassination because 'as an American, I have the right to my freedom of speech and my freedom of thought.' Also, she reportedly has many concerns about the matter. However, she realised that questioning things doesn't work with TPUSA under its new leadership.

'You can't question the narrative and work at Turning Point,' she said, adding that the current practice 'goes against everything that Charlie ever stood for.'

'We're All Gonna Be Better Off'

In her video, Laitsch said she broke her silence for her friends and colleagues, whom she already considered family and who were still working at TPUSA. She was hoping that they would 'receive better treatment.'

Additionally, she wanted to speak on behalf of those who lost their jobs without reason. 'Nobody deserves to be let go without cause,' she added.

Despite how things ended for her and some of her colleagues, Laitsch believed that things would be better for them and that it was Turning Point's loss that it terminated its committed employees.

'We're all gonna be better off because of this, because we have removed ourselves from an environment that was no longer serving us,' she continued. 'And in my opinion, no longer serving the Lord, which was Charlie's entire intention.'

Revelations Backfire as Critics Label Laitsch 'Untrustworthy'

The public reaction to Laitsch's video has been overwhelmingly critical, with many accusing her of disloyalty and a lack of professionalism after airing her grievances toward the organisation she served for nearly 5 years.

'Soooo ur upset that the organization you work for doesn't want its own employees speaking negatively against it??? Girl that's ANY organization! That has nothing to do with free speech...... that's literally common sense,' one commented. Another added that her video was concrete evidence that she was 'untrustworthy and disloyal' and that TPUSA had grounds to terminate her.

Meanwhile, another said Laitsch looked 'genuine' to them, but they understood why Erika Kirk and TPUSA had to let her go. A different user accused Laisch of trying to be 'famous' and advised her to 'Move on and enjoy your 2 week limelight.'

Apparently, many believe that one's loyalty to the organisation they serve or previously worked for is non-negotiable regardless of its leadership.
