Tucker Carlson Demands Trump's Immediate Removal Over Nuclear Weapons Threats Despite Years of MAGA Support

Tucker Carlson has delivered one of his most dramatic breaks with Donald Trump, declaring that the president should be removed from office if he is seriously considering the first use of nuclear weapons.

The extraordinary intervention marks a striking reversal for Carlson, who has spent years supporting Trump and the broader MAGA movement, but now says nuclear warfare should be an absolute red line.

Carlson Draws a Nuclear Red Line

Speaking during a discussion featured on The Kyle Kulinski Show, Carlson was quoted arguing that any president who actively considers using nuclear weapons first should immediately lose the right to remain in office.

'I was opposed to impeachment, the two impeachment attempts against Trump, strongly opposed,' Carlson said, before explaining why he believes the nuclear issue changes everything.

'The second any president actively considers first use of nuclear weapons, that person should be removed from office immediately.'

Carlson went further, arguing that even tolerating such discussions among senior officials should raise fundamental questions about a president's fitness to lead.

His argument centred on the potentially catastrophic consequences of nuclear escalation. Rather than treating the issue as another political dispute, Carlson presented it as a boundary that should apply regardless of party loyalty.

The remarks represent a major shift from his previous position on Trump's impeachments. Carlson has repeatedly defended Trump and became one of the most prominent conservative media figures associated with the MAGA movement.

His Trump Break Comes After Years of Support
