Victoria's Secret assembled 47 of the world's top supermodels at its annual underwear fashion show on Tuesday (10 November). This year's show featured newcomers Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner alongside veterans Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge.

Model Joan Smalls was making her fifth appearance and said her upbringing prepared her for the job of lingerie model. "I'm from Puerto Rico, so we're use to walking with a little bit of clothes. So yeah, it feels like second nature," said Smalls.

Early in 2015 Polish model Monika Jagaciak officially earned her angel wings when she was named a Victoria's Secret angel. "It's the first time to even be in like a grown-up section. So I think that's pretty big for me. And I have two outfits, so I'm excited," she said.

Jagaciak previously appeared in the more youthful, teen-inspired part of the show. "I was in the Pink section before. So now I got an upgrade," added Jagaciak with a smile.

Entertainers Selena Gomez, The Weeknd and Ellie Goulding performed during the show, which will air on US television network CBS on 8 December.
