The Walking Dead Finale

Last week's episode of The Walking Dead titled 'Us' ended with Glenn, Maggie, Tara, Abraham, Eugene, Rosita, Sasha and Bob arriving at the mysterious 'safe haven,' Terminus.

Now, it remains to be seen what twists and surprises the finale brings.

The season ends this Sunday, March 30 and a new finale episode promo from New Zealand has surfaced online that shows a lot of good, scary footage (via Wetpaint).

The footage finally shows Gareth (Andrew J. West). He says, "Welcome to Terminus." He holds up a hand as Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) pulls a gun on him.

People on the roof appear to be shooting down at Rick and company. Maybe it's because they missed a 'lower your weapons' sign.

However, not only are they shot at, we hear Rick's voice say, "Where are our people?"

Other clips show trouble between Rick's group and Joe's marauders. Joe's voice says, "You screwed up, you hear me? You screwed up. ... Today's a day of reckoning, sir."

Is Joe talking to Rick both times, or maybe Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus)?

Also, looks like the marauders are going after Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) too as he is seen hiding in a car during the dark scene.

The promo (below) ends with Michonne holding Carl who is glaring at someone. Is that anger in response to something awful happening to Rick, speculates the Wetpaint report.

Meanwhile, Terminus still remains a mystery. Is it a trap from The Hunters or a safe place similar to the prison or even Woodbury?

Series creator Robert Kirkman spoke to EW.com and revealed that the final episode will shed light on Rick and his struggles:

"This last half of season 4 has been a character defining group of stories for everyone, but really, Rick Grimes - really finding what this guy is going to be able to do and how he is going to carry on, and is he going to get these people back together, and where is he going to go from here? And I think there are some big questions that are asked that are going to be answered in this final episode."

And because this is The Walking Dead, don't expect a happy ending when Rick gets to Terminus.

"This is Rick Grimes being pushed to his absolute limit," Kirkman said. "And if you think you've seen that before, you haven't. And the Rick Grimes that comes out of this is really going to shock people."

The Walking Dead Season 4 finale airs Sunday at 9 pm ET on AMC.
