Overview

England drew level 1-1 in the three-match series following their victory in the second ODI against West Indies on Sunday.

The visiting bowlers got into their act in as early as the third over with Joe Root dismissing Dwayne Smith (5) with just 10 runs on the board. The hosts had lost three wickets for 30 runs and Lendl Simmons' attempted to rescue their innings with a knock of 70 runs.

However, Simmons was caught by Ben Stokes from Stephen Parry's delivery for West Indies' sixth wicket with 145 runs on the board. Dwayne Bravo's (20) side lost the remaining four wickets accumulating just 14 runs more and ended their innings with 159 runs in the 45th over.

Parry took three wickets on the day, while Root and James Tredwell nabbed two wickets each. Stuart Broad, Tim Bresnan and Moeen Ali were responsible for taking the remaining three wickets.

England got off to a slow start and the top order failed to build a steady platform for the run chase. Ali (10) walked back to the pavilion after his shot found Nikita Miller at deep square leg from Ravi Rampaul's delivery.

Following Michael Lumb's (39) dismissal in the 21st over with 79 runs on the tally, the visitors seemed to be losing the plot and leaked the next four wickets amassing just 29 runs.

However, Ravi Bopara (38) and Broad (28) got into the rescue act to complete the run-chase in the 45th over to stand a chance to win the series in the third game.

Both sides now stand a chance
