Who Is Kelci Binau? Female Attorney Accuses Nevada Judge Bridget Robb of Stalking Since May 2024
She alleged being stalked at home, work, and social spots hundreds of times

Kelci Binau, a 37-year-old attorney based in Reno, has unexpectedly become the focus of headlines after filing a legal complaint alleging she was stalked by a sitting Nevada judge for more than a year.
Court documents claim that Washoe County Judge Bridget Robb, 63, repeatedly followed Binau across multiple locations in Reno, Nevada, starting in May 2024. This led to a temporary protective order granted to Binau this month. Her petition alleged she was stalked around her home, workplace, and even at social venues hundreds of times since last spring.
Details of the Alleged Stalking
According to court records seen by News4, Binau filed for the TPO on 12 January. Her sworn application described 'willful, repeated and patterned' behaviour by Robb, citing incidents recorded on doorbell cameras at both residential and workplace locations.
Police involvement reportedly began in late 2025 when detectives noticed the judge near a fitness studio Binau often visited. Authorities pulled her over after spotting her in the vicinity multiple times.
Robb allegedly admitted she was 'collecting information' as a coping mechanism tied to a prior personal relationship, although details of that relationship remain unclear.
A hearing for an extended protection order is scheduled for 13 February, at which point the court will determine whether the restrictions against Robb should continue. Apparently, extended protection orders in Nevada can last up to two years.

Kelci Binau's Legal Career in Focus
Binau is an attorney at McDonald Carano LLP, practising primarily in Gaming & Administrative Law and Business Entities & Transactions. She also works in trust and estate planning and serves in leadership roles within the legal community.
She holds a Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and is admitted to practice in both Nevada and California.

What Happens to Judge Bridget Robb?
In the wake of the protective order and the allegations, Robb announced her retirement from the Washoe County Second Judicial District Court effective 6 February. She also withdrew her candidacy for a different judicial seat in this year's election.
Robb had served on the bench since being appointed in 2006 and was planning to transition from her family court seat to challenge a fellow judge in another division before the situation unfolded. She believed stepping away is in the best interest of the court, her family, and the community and also asked for respect and understanding during the transition.
In her statement to KOLO 8 News Now, she stated: 'Serving the people of Washoe County has been an honor and a responsibility I have taken seriously throughout my time on the bench. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served, for the dedication of my colleagues, and for the hardworking court staff who strive each day to ensure the fair administration of justice.'
Chief District Judge Egan Walker removed Robb from her cases and committee duties and initiated an internal investigation following the protective order.
The legal proceedings now continue with the protective order review in February and ongoing public scrutiny of one of Nevada's most unexpected judicial controversies in recent memory.
