The second Monday at Wimbledon is always the most exciting for spectators and 2011 should be no different. With 16 of the best men and 16 of the best women battling it out to reach the business end of Wimbledon 2011 it should be a day of drama, excitement and superb tennis. With Djokovic, Federer, Murray and Nadal all in action on the men's side, as well as the Williams sisters, Maria Sharapova and world number one Caroline Wozniacki on the women's. this Monday should be a superb day of tennis for the spectator.

Andy Murray opens Centre Court today against Richard Gasquet, returning to the scene of their 2008 epic encounter. Andy Murray was two sets down to the classy Frenchman but managed to battle back to beat Gasquet to delight the British crowd. Gasquet is a very dangerous player and has an excellent pedigree on grass. He won at Nottingham in 2005 and 2006 as well reaching the semi-final at the all England club in 2007. Murray will be fully aware of the threat of the Frenchman who has one of the best single handed back hands in the game. Murray will be looking to dominate the baseline rallies but Gasquet's technique from the back of the court will provide Murray with the test he needs going into the business end of the tournament.

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer return to court this afternoon looking to progress into the quarter finals. Rafael Nadal takes on the ever improving Argentine, Martin del Potro. Del Potro looks to returning to the same form that saw him win the 2009 US Open and Nadal will have to keep the ball away from the giant forehand of the Argentine if he is to have a comfortable day on court. Seven time champion, Roger Federer is last on Court One this afternoon Federer has been in breath-taking from thus far, having not lost a set and only being broken once. He plays Russian Mikhail Youzhny, a player Federer will look to dispatch quickly in preparation for tougher tests.

On the women's side of the draw, all eyes will be on the Williams sisters as they return to the show courts after last week's controversy. Venus returns to Centre where she takes on Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria whilst Serena plays ninth seed Marion Bartoli. The sisters are expected to progress and will continue their push for a final meeting next week.
