Wimbledon Day 2 - Order of play

Play on all courts gets underway at 1200 BST except for Centre Court and Court One, where play begins at 1300 BST.

Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will look to follow Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray into the second round of Wimbledon 2011 when they begin their respective campaigns this afternoon.

Day two of Wimbledon is traditionally when the tournament starts to fizz. After the rigmarole of the opening day -- with the defending champion opening proceedings, a touch of rain, and a nervy start by the home favourite to set the nerves on edge -- the appearance of Federer and Djokovic should keep the global audience content. Also in action at the All England Club are two-time French Open runner-up Robin Soderling, Spanish no.2 David Ferrer, women's top seed Caroline Wozniacki and Roland Garros winner Na Li.

Six-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer should have an easy start against Uzbek Mikhail Kukushkin as he looks to equal Pete Sampras' record of seven singles titles at SW19.

Second seed Novak Djokovic is next up on Centre Court where he plays Frenchman Jeremy Chardy. The Serbian takes to the court for the first time after Federer ended his 43-match unbeaten streak in the semi-finals of the French Open.

Elswhere, sixth seed David Ferrer meets Benoi Paire of France; fifth seed Robin Soderling takes on Philipp Petzchner; and three-time finalist Andy Roddick plays Andreas Beck of Germany.

Today also sees a repeat of pub quiz favourites John Isner and Nicolas Mahut, who's record-breaking first round contest in last year's tournament lasted an epic 11 hours.

In the women's draw, defending champion Serena Williams is in action against Aravane Rezai of France. While world no.1 Caroline Wozniacki opens her bid to claim a maiden Grand Slam title against 105th ranked Arantxa Parra Santonja.
