Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max Camera Specifications Revealed With Dual 200MP Leica Cameras

Xiaomi has revealed more camera specifications for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max ahead of their 23 September launch in China, confirming dual 200MP rear cameras and sharing samples captured with the upcoming flagship phones.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Camera Specifications Include 200MP Telephoto

The latest details were shared by Xiaomi in separate Weibo posts, covering the hardware used by the rear camera systems on the two phones. Both the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will feature a Leica 200MP primary rear camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor.

That camera will be paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using a 1/1.56-inch sensor. Xiaomi says the telephoto camera has an f/2.4 aperture, a 75mm native focal length and support for 3.2x optical zoom.

The periscope telephoto camera will also support macro focusing from as close as 12cm. Xiaomi has separately shared several camera samples taken with the new main and telephoto cameras, offering an early look at images produced by the two systems before the phones are officially unveiled.
