A few screenshots of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra running Android 4.4.2 KitKat have leaked indicating the arrival of the software update.
Recently, French carrier SFR posted a software update availability schedule according to which Android 4.4 KitKat will be available for Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra sometime in April.
The KitKat update is expected after the launch of the new Xperia Z2. Besides, the Xperia Z1 is expected to receive KitKat upgrade before the Xperia Z. However, there is no information on a date for the update roll-out.
Now, a user has posted multiple screenshots of Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware running on the Xperia Z Ultra at bbs.gfan. These suggest that Android 4.4.2 with build number 14.3.A.0.681 has leaked for the Xperia Z Ultra with model number C6833. The screenshots show that the boot screen, power display and the shortcut bar have been changed.

Although there is no official word so far, there is a possibility that the Android KitKat firmware will carry 14.3.A.X.XXX build number as the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware for Xperia Z Ultra features the 14.2.A.1.136 build version.
According to the Xperia Blog, if the leaked screenhots are to be believed, then the Android 4.4.2 firmware is expected to be released for Xperia Z Ultra within a few weeks.
