Adam Sandler Debunks Viral Rumour About 19-Year-Old Daughter, Sadie Sandler
During the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Adam Sandler Addressed the TikTok rumour: 'it's just insane'

Last week, the daughter of comedian and actor Adam Sandler, 19-year-old Sadie Sandler, went viral online and has made headlines over a TikTok rumour claiming that Sadie entered a Chanel store in Beverly Hills, California, alone, without a security guard, and is wearing an oversized hoodie, basketball shorts, and trainers.
Claims said that Sadie was 'humiliated' by a staff member after viewing a Classic Flap Bag priced at approximately £20,900 ($28,600).

Moments later, Sandler arrived at the store, also dressed casually, and confronted the staff about judging customers by appearance. Sandler allegedly proceeded to buy approximately £230,000 ($312,000) worth of bags from the store to teach the employee a lesson before leaving the store with this daughter.
But now, Sandler has set the record straight, debunking what he calls an 'insane' and 'dumbest' story.
Adam Sandler Debunked Sadie Sandler TikTok Rumour
During the Santa Barbara International Film Festival red carpet on Thursday, 5 February, Sandler finally cleared things up about the rumour circulating online about his daughter, Sadie.
The 59-year-old actor addressed the TikTok video in front of media outlets, calling it 'one of the weirdest, dumbest, 100% made up things.'
He said, 'By the way, there's something on the internet talking about that dumb thing.' Sandler added, 'I've been hearing about this thing and I saw it, and it's just insane. It's just this made-up, weird thing that people ask me about. And I'm just like, "I've never heard of this in my life." That story was 100 percent insane and made-up, and not a word of it is true.'
The said TikTok video was posted on 2 February and quickly went viral as the staff told the 19-year-old 'wasn't allowed to touch' certain items in the store. It's not clear when, but the video has been deleted.
Sandler shared how he found out about the 'insane' story recalling that a friend texted him to ask about it, which he described as 'nonsense.'
'I don't know how that [expletive] happens,' Sandler said.
But the Happy Gilmore 2 actor confirmed one thing—the story about him going to an In-N-Out Burger. He said, 'But there's also some story I heard about me going to an In-N-Out Burger at midnight and getting a bunch of Double-Doubles, and I have to say, that story is true.' He adds, 'So that one's true. The other one's pathetic.'
Adam Sandler Honoured with the Maltin Modern Master Award
At the film festival, Sandler was honored with the prestigious Maltin Modern Master Award following a Nielsen report that Happy Gilmore 2 was the most-watched live-action movie of 2025 with 7.1 billion total minutes streamed.
During his speech, Sandler gave a shout out to his wife, Jackie Sandler, whom he married in 2003 and shared two daughters, Sadie and Sunny, 17 years old.
He declared Jackie as 'the love of my life' and said, 'Thank you for keeping me going all these years. I love you forever. I couldn't do it without you,' he added, 'To my daughters, Sadie and Sunny, you guys are my world. I love you two like you'll never know.'
