Singer Adele is reportedly planning to take a five-year hiatus to look after her three-year-old child with her boyfriend Simon Konecki. The Hello singer apparently wants to take the break after she concludes her world tour in Mexico City on 15 November.

Following a three-year break, and marking her comeback on 20 November 2015 with the release of album, 25, Adele managed to win a record number of four awards at 2016's Brits Awards in February. This month also saw the start of a lengthy world tour, taking in Europe and the US, with the schedule currently showing a total of 105 shows.

"She [Adele] has told her closest pals she will step away from the limelight for five years before she next brings out an album. She's still very new to motherhood and doesn't want to miss out on Angelo growing up. It will be a hard thing for fans to hear," source told The Sun newspaper.

Meanwhile the singer told the Daily Star: "I'm going to enjoy this tour and these 105 dates [singer's world tour] because one day it will all go away and I will look back and remember this when it does." "I'm so proud to have eight shows at the 02 because there was a period of my career where I couldn't sell out one night at the Roundhouse. To be able to do this many shows here blows my mind."

Talking about how she has managed to keep a low profile in public, Adele had told The Daily Star:"I can't actually do my own hair and make-up, which is a first world problem." "But the good thing about it is no one recognises me when I go to the shops or to the park because it doesn't look like me."

"I look like a tramp most of the time which means I don't need to go out in disguise. People think I'm a hermit but it's just because no one recognises me when I go out," she said.
