Her role is like no other working mother's as advisor to the president of the United States, who just happens to be her father, Donald Trump.

But Ivanka Trump, 36, proudly reminded her 4.1m Instagram followers that she was also a proud mum in one of her latest posts.

Trump has three children - Arabella, Joseph and Theodore - with her husband Jared Kushner.

She informed her followers that her two eldest, Arabella and Joseph, kindly baked cookies for White House staff.

In a picture showing her kneeling down and tending to her children, who appear to be meticulously dressed, Trump captioned the post: ''Favorite time of the year! Arabella and Joseph baked cookies for everyone in the office [and ate a few in the process]. Happy Holidays! ❄️''

Trump's fans went wild over the adorable social media post, with many warming to her maternal side.

One person commented: ''This is the most precious thing ever! You are such a good Mom!''

While someone else said: ''You're an amazing mom Ivanka! Glad you're front and center!''

A third added: ''So proud of our First Family! Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas America!!''

Trump has been thriving in her new political role after moving to Washington DC at the beginning of the year, when her husband was appointed senior adviser to her father.

Happy Holidays! 😘

She began serving in her father's presidential administration in March 2017 – assuming the official, unpaid position after ethics concerns were raised about her access to material while not being held to the same restrictions as a federal employee. Trump is now considered as part of the president's inner circle, later becoming an official employee in his administration.

Trump appears to be balancing her work and home lives adroitly, later sharing another snap on Instagram of herself looking better than ever in a red satin dress flanked by two female guests at a festive party in the White House.
