The Android 4.4.2 KitKat software update for Samsung's second generation Galaxy Note is reportedly under testing.

Last month Samsung Poland confirmed the Android 4.4 KitKat update for a number of Galaxy devices including the Galaxy Note 2, reports Sammobile. However, there was no official word as to when the update roll-out would commence for the Note 2.

Following this, an internal document from Samsung has leaked revealing the Android KitKat update schedule. According to the listing, (although the model number of Galaxy Note 2 was listed wrongly) the Galaxy Note 2 is expected to get the KitKat software sometime between April and May this year.

GFXBench

According to the latest disclosure, Samsung is preparing the Android KitKat update for the Galaxy Note 2. GFXBench has posted a listing for the South Korean variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with model number SHV-E250. The data also suggests that Android 4.4.2 for the Note 2 is noted in the OS section. Although this is not an international model, at least one the models of Galaxy Note 2 is benchmarked with Android 4.4.2 software, notes GforGames.

The list also suggests that Android 4.4.2 software for Galaxy Note 2 is under testing phases. Testing for other variants of the Note 2 is also likely shortly.
