Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to buy a house in Los Angeles for her children to stay close to their father Brad Pitt. The couple, who filed for divorce in September, has six children together –Maddox (15), Pax (12), Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
A source told US Weekly, "She's currently looking into buying a new house in L.A. so the kids can remain close to their father." This news comes after TMZ reported that the Salt actress wants to move to London with her kids.
The site went on to claim that Jolie is planning to "bolt for her dream job," a top position in the United Nations. The actress's spokesperson denied the reports and told the Magazine, "It's absolutely false."
Confirming that the actress is not planning to move to London, Jolie's representative told Entertainment Tonight, "She has no intention of moving to London. In fact, she is looking for a new home in the Los Angeles area so that she can continue the family therapy sessions."
Previously, Pitt and Jolie's agreed on a temporary custody agreement, which states that the children's physical custody is retained by the actress, but the children will continue making "therapeutic visitations" with Pitt.
In addition, the Allied actor will have to submit to drug and alcohol test at least four times a month."Originally, Pitt had volunteered to do the drug and alcohol testing himself. But now that a judge has signed off on these docs, it has become mandatory and cannot be reversed without another court filing."
Brad and Angelina were together for 11 years, and got married in a hush-hush ceremony in 2014, before filing for divorce in September, 2016.
