Candace Owens has reignited her feud with Erika Kirk after leaking audio she alleges shows Charlie Kirk's widow discussing merchandise sales and attendance figures at his memorial, just 11 days after his assassination.

The podcaster released the recording on 27 January 2026, claiming it captured Kirk speaking in an 'extraordinarily upbeat' tone while addressing Turning Point USA staff. In the alleged audio, Kirk reportedly called the memorial an 'event of the century' and mentioned merchandise sales reaching approximately $200,000 (£144,547). Owens framed this as evidence of inappropriate priorities during mourning, stating, 'We are not even two weeks after watching your husband be assassinated. We're talking about numbers and metrics.'

Some supporters of Kirk say her words were simply thanks to the workers who kept going nonstop to handle the event. The gathering drew around 275,000 people into State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Arizona, on 21 September 2025. Kirk herself acknowledged her tone might seem unusual, reportedly telling employees, 'It's weird to say that I'm excited. I really hesitate saying that.'

What Is Erika Kirk's Net Worth?

According to multiple financial tracking outlets, Erika Kirk has an estimated personal net worth of approximately $2 million (£1.44 million). Real estate plays a part in her income, along with work through religious enterprises and media projects.

The former Miss Arizona USA 2012 founded the nonprofit Everyday Heroes Like You and later launched Proclaim Streetwear, a Christian clothing brand. She hosts the Midweek Rise Up devotional podcast and, until recently, worked as a real estate agent with the Corcoran Group in New York City. A degree followed much of this journey: she earned a doctorate in Christian leadership at Liberty University.

Her financial situation shifted dramatically following her husband's death on 10 September 2025. Charlie Kirk, aged 31, was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. His estate was valued at approximately $12 million (£8.67 million), though no public documentation confirms whether these assets transferred directly to his widow.

Kirk now serves as CEO and chairwoman of Turning Point USA. According to tax filings, TPUSA generated $85 million (£61.41 million) in revenue in 2024, with 99.2% coming from charitable contributions. While Kirk does not personally own those funds, she oversees an organisation with over 500,000 donors and 3,350 campus chapters. Her expected CEO salary would rival her late husband's reported $390,000 (£282,000) annual compensation.

What Is Candace Owens' Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Owens holds an estimated net worth of approximately $5 million (£3.61 million).

The 36-year-old has accumulated her wealth through media appearances, book sales, sponsored podcast features, and digital content. Around 5.7 million people follow her videos on YouTube, with even larger audiences across various social media platforms.

Owens departed The Daily Wire in March 2024. The company announced they had 'ended their relationship' following months of tensions. Since then, she has been running solo, launching projects such as Harvey Speaks — a media venture that began airing at the start of 2025.

What Sparked Their Dispute?

The conflict arose following Charlie Kirk's assassination and has centred on Owens' promotion of conspiracy theories surrounding his death, including unverified claims about foreign government involvement.

'Stop. That's it. That's all I have to say. Stop,' Erika Kirk stated during a CBS News town hall in December 2025, calling Owens' commentary 'sick' and accusing her of profiting from tragedy.

The women initially met privately on 15 December 2025 for what both described as a productive conversation. However, Owens broke what she termed a 'ceasefire' by January 2026, questioning Kirk's whereabouts before her husband's death and subsequently releasing the leaked audio.

TPUSA had not confirmed or denied the authenticity of the audio at the time of publication.
