2150: What a crazy night of football in Europe with goals flying in all over the place. A truly fantastic night for British football with all three sides winning and special praise must go to Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster who were truly immense tonight. Let's hope for more of the same in two weeks time.

2145: I have no idea how Manchester United have done this, they have been poor yet somehow have scored three goals in just 10 minutes. Hernandez trys to mess it up as he takes an age to get the shot away and it is blocked on the line, only for the Mexican to slide in and finally find the back of the net.

2145: GOAL: Braga 1-3 Manchester United (Hernandez)

2142: This is turning into a superb night for the British sides as Celtic secured a spectacular win over Barcelona, while Chelse grabbed a last gasp winner against Shakhtar and now United are set to qualify after two goals in the last 10 minutes. Breathtaking stuff.

2140: I think we can safely say that United are now through to the knockout stages after another late goal, this time from Van Persie's strike partner Wayne Rooney. Hernandez had the intial shot which was saved but Rooney was tripped trying to get the rebound.

2140: GOAL: Brage 1-2 Manchester United (Rooney)

2137: Now that is a late goal, so late in fact that it is the last kick of the game. Substitute Victor Moses heads home a corner from Eden Hazard to hand the Blues all three points.

2137: GOAL: Chelsea 3-2 Shakhtar (Moses)

2135: it's another late goal from Manchester United look like they are through to the knock out stages. Of course it is that man Robin van Persie who has a lot to do from out wide but with the keeper stranded he lobs the ball home, but there is still 10 minutes remaining.

2135: GOAL: Braga 1-1 Manchester United (Van Persie)

2132: It is wave after wave of Barcelona attacks and it is another superb save from Forster but he can only parry the shot and Messi is on hand to blast it home. Nervous times now.

2132: GOAL: Celtic 2-1 Barcelona (Messi)

2129: GOAL: Valencia 4-2 BATE (Feghouli)

2125: BATE are on the comeback trail but the big news is up in Scotland where Celtic have just scored a second against Barcelona. It is yongster Tony Watt who last seasonn scored against Barcelona while playing in the NextGen series. What a result this could be.

2125: GOAL: Celtic 2-0 Barcelona (Watt)

2125: GOAL: Valencia 3-2 BATE (Mozolevski)

2122: We have just been denied another hat-trick as Oscar Cardozo blasts his penalty against the bar Nicolas Pareja was shown a red card for his tackle in the penalty area.

2118: We have another hat-trick and this time it is Burak Yilmaz who beats one defender and fires the ball into the bottom corner with his left-foot.

2118: GOAL: Cluj 1-3 Galatasaray (Yilmaz hat-trick)

2117: It's all to easy for this superb Juventus side as Fabio Quagliarella heads in from point blank range. This group is getting very interesting. Who will qualify from Juve, Chelsea and Shakhtar?

2117: GOAL: Juventus 4-0 Nordsjalland (Quagliarella)

2115: Newcastle fans will be thankful they have Tim Krul as it seems they let a superb goalkeeper leave in the summer with Fraser Forster having another wonderful game for Celtic. The giant Geordie keeper is making a string of remarkable saves. No wonder he got called up to the England squad.

2112: Oscar Cardozo is some striker and he volleys his second goal of the game after a superb ball from Ola John. Meanwhile United are back underway in Braga with Rio Ferdinand replacing Jonny Evans.

2112: GOAL: Benfica 2-0 Spartak Moscow (Cardozo)

2107: Don't call it a come back. Lille have angered the Germans by scoring and Toni Kroos duly restores the five goal advantage. Again it is great play from Phillip Lahm who lays on the assist.

2107: GOAL: Bayern 6-1 Lille (Kroos)

2105: Tilmaz gets his second of the game to restore Galatasaray's lead. Again it is an assist from former Real Madrid midfielder Hamit Altintop and it's an easy finish. Meanwhile play has been suspended in the Manchester United game because of a floodlight failuer.

2105: GOAL: Cluj 1-2 Galatasaray (Yilmaz)

2100: The goals really are coming thick and fast tonight with BATE cutting the deficit against Valencia, Cluj levelling matter thanks to a cool finish from Sougou. Lille get a consolation through Salomon Kalou, while Oscar Cordozo makes sure there is a goal in every single game by handing Benfica the lead.

2059: GOAL: Benfica 1-0 Spartak Moscow (Cardozo)

2058: GOAL: Bayern 5-1 Lille (Kalou)

2057: GOAL: Cluj 1-1 Galatasaray (Sougou)

2057: GOAL: Valencia 3-1 BATE (Bressan)

2055: Valencia are impressing tonight and it is Sofiane Feghouli who fires hit shot into the top left hand corner. There is also bad news for Manchester United fans after Alan converts from the penalty spot and gives De Gea no chance after Jonny Evans was deemed to have fouled gave away the penalty.

2054: GOAL: Braga 1-0 Manchester United (Alan)

2053: GOAL: Valencia 3-0 BATE (Feghouli)

2050: We have our first goal of the second half and it is bad news for Chelsea fans. It's that man again as Willian finds an equaliser and it is thoroughly deserved. It's another fine pass from Fernandinho who finds Dario Srna and his ball finds the Brazilian who side foots home with his first touch.

2050: GOAL: Chelsea 2-2 Shakhtar (Willian)

2047: After a brief rest period, which was frankly needed after all those goals, we are back underway in all eight games. Just to reiterate, Barcelona are losing to Celtic. They have won all but one game this season, a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid, and have looked utterly unstoppable. Could tonight be the first time they lose this season.

2030: What a first half of action from across Europe, though not in Braga where United have struggled, with Bayern looking unstoppable and scoring five in the first half. Juve and Chelsea both lead as they battle for qualification. Celtic have rode their luck but have a 1-0 lead over Barca, while Valencia are looking good for another win.

2027: Positive news from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea have been second best for most of the game, however, they take the lead through Brazilian magician Oscar. It's a mistake from the keeper who header falls to Oscar who fires home into the empty net from all of 40 yards. Brilliant goal.

2027: Chelsea 2-1 Shakhtar (Oscar)

2025: STAT: Tom Kell ‏@UEFAcomTomK - @FCBayern become only the second team in #ChampionsLeaguehistory to score five first-half goals. Monaco are the other, against Depor in '03

2022: Chelsea will be desperate to gain a win tonight as Juventus are now looking certain to gain all three points. This time it is Sebastien Giovinco with his first ever shot in the Champions League and it's a superb strike after a brilliant pass from Andrea Pirlo.

2022: GOAL: Juventus 3-0 Nordsjaelland (Giovinco)

2020: Absolutely incredible scenes at the Allianz Arena as Bayern take a 5-0 lead over Lille. This time it is Schweinsteiger sweeping the ball to fellow goalscorer Lahm whose cross is headed home by the Peruvian.

2020: GOAL: Bayern 5-0 Lille (Pizarro hat-trick)

2017: Goals galore tonight as Pizarro scores another cracking Bayern Munich goal and we haven't even had 30 minutes. It's a great run and cross from Phillip Lahm and his pass is neatly flicked home by Pizarro. Valencia have scored two in quick succession as Jonas slams the ball into the top corner, before Soldado converts a penalty.

2016: GOAL: Valencia 2-0 BATE (Soldado)

2015: GOAL: Bayern 4-0 Lille (Pizarro)

2014: Juventus may have lost for the first time in 49 games at the weekend but they are looking good in the Champions League. It's poor defending to be honest as the Nordsjaelland defender dwells on the ball in his own box and Vidal slides in to tackle and it somehow beats the keeper.

2012: GOAL: Valencia 1-0 BATE (Jonas)

2011: GOAL: Juventus 2-0 Nordsjaelland (Vidal)

2008: I know we said that Lille were yet to hit top form this season but this could be embarrasing for them tonight. This time it comes from the left-boot of Arjen Robben who curls a free-kick towards goal and it takes a big delfection and leave the keeper helpless. No luck for the French side.

2008: GOAL: Bayern 3-0 Lille (Robben)

2007: We said that Wanyama was the man to watch out for and he proves it as he hands Celtic a shock lead and, somehow, Parkhead is even louder. It came from a corner and the Barca defence was powerless to prevent the youngster climbing highest and powering home a header. What a start.

2007: GOAL: Celtic 1-0 Barcelona (Wanyama)

2006: A couple more goals to tell you about as Galatasaray take the lead through Burak Yilmaz who heads home a cross from Hamit Altintop, while Bayern extend their advantage thanks to a cooly converted penalty from Claudio Pizarro.

2005: GOAL: Bayern 2-0 Lille (Pizarro)

2004: GOAL: CFR Cluj 0-1 Galatasaray (Yilmaz)

1956: Well that lead did not last long and it is the in-demand Brazilian Willian who grabs the equaliser. It was good work from Fernandinho who squares the ball to the attcking midfielder who shoots past a number of players to level the scores. Chelsea will be doubly devastated as their lead lasted a matter of seconds and the goal came from a player they wanted to sign last summer.

1956: GOAL: Chelsea 1-1 Shakhtar (Willian)

1954: We didn't have to wait long for more goals and it is two in Group E with Juventus and Chelsea both taking the lead. Marchisio slots home after good work out wide, while Torres capitalises on a dreadful mistake at the back with a mix-up between defender and keeper allowing the Spaniard to slot home.

1952: GOAL: Chelsea 1-0 Shakhtar (Torres)

1952: GOAL: Juventus 1-0 Nordsjaeland (Marchisio)

1950: GOAL: Bayern Munich 1-0 Lille (Schweinsteiger)

The golden streak of predictions continues as Bayern do indeed take the lead and it is captain Bastian Schweinsteiger that gets the first goal of the evening. The German international stands over a free-kick around 25 yards out and curls it sublimely into the corner.

1947: it is positively bouncing at Celtic where the fans are making it a sensational atmosphere. Victor Wanyama has been receiving rave reviews this season so it will be interesting to see him up against the world famous Barcelona midfield of Xavi and Iniesta.

1945: And here we go. We enjoy nothing more than an early prediction so we will go with the first goal coming at Bayern Munich who take on a Lille side which is currently eighth in Ligue 1 and struggling to find their best form.

1944: Of course it is not just the two English clubs in action tonight, Celtic look to gain revenge over Barcelona after the heartbreak at the Camp Nou just two weeks ago. They have only ever lost on one occasion at Parkhead in the group stages and it was the Catalan side that gained a victory.

1942: Team News: Braga vs Manchester United

Braga: Beto, Leandro Salino, Nuno Andre, Douglao, Elderson, Custodio, Hugo Viana, Alan, Ruben Micael, Ruben Amorim, Eder. Subs: Quim, Mossoro, Helder Barbosa, Baiano, Ismaily, Djamal, Ze Luis.

Man Utd: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Nani, Anderson, Giggs, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck. Subs: Lindegaard, Da Silva, Ferdinand, Carrick, Young, van Persie, Cleverley.

1941: Team News: Chelsea vs Shakhtar Donetsk

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Bertrand, Ramires, Mikel, Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Torres. Subs: Turnbull, Romeu, Moses, Marin, Sturridge, Terry, Azpilicueta.

Shakhtar Donetsk: Pyatov, Srna, Kucher, Rakitskiy, Rat, Hubschman, Fernandinho, Alex Teixeira, Mkhitaryan, Willian, Luiz Adriano. Subs: Kanibolotskiy, Stepanenko, Eduardo, Shevchuk, Douglas Costa, Chygrynskiy, Ilsinho.

1940: We are just five minutes away from kick-off across Europe and we could see two teams qualify for the knockout stages with Manchester United and Barcelona both bringing a 100% record into game four of the Champions League. Yesterday we saw Porto and Malaga make it through to the knockout stages and we are finally getting an idea of just who will be competing for a place in the final.
