Donald Trump and Trevor Noah

Evidence of blatant sexism against Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump appears to keep piling up. On the heels of his controversial comments that women who have abortions should be "punished," a clip from a 1994 interview shows Trump making an objectifying comment about his then one-year-old daughter, Tiffany.

In the 5 April episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, the South African host tackled Trump's relationship with and treatment of women. "Throughout Trump's historic campaign to insult as many demographic groups as possible, he has revered his most d***ish comments for women," Noah began the segment by saying.

"Trump's misogyny easily predates the election," he continued. "In fact, it's pretty much his only consistent belief." Noah then showed a clip of a recent anti-Trump advert in which women quote the bombastic real estate mogul's most sexist comments.

However, in an attempt to prove just how deep the candidate's alleged sexism and misogyny runs, Noah then brought out a clip from a 1994 interview on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Trump, who can be seen with his second wife Marla Maples, was asked what attributes their one-year-old daughter Tiffany got from the couple.

"I think that she's got a lot of Marla," Trump responded. "She's really a beautiful baby. She's got Marla's legs. We don't know whether or not she's got this part yet, but time will tell," he said as he mimicked breasts with his hands.

The clip then cut to Noah looking completely incredulous. "I've watched that Trump clip maybe 20 times now," he admitted. "But every time I do, I just need to take a quick breather to remember that good things still exist in the world...So, yes, back in 1994, Donald Trump was asked what attributes his one-year-old daughter shared with his wife, he could have said anything. And he went with legs and possibly boobs."

Noah added it was apparent to him that the GOP contender clearly did not see anything wrong with his comments. "We know for sure that there's no female too small for Trump not to reduce her to body parts," Noah said. "I don't even think Trump was trying to be funny or provocative. It clearly shows it's an impulse for him." US readers can watch the full clip here.
