Coleen Rooney could be swapping her designer glad rags for a safari suit as she's been tipped to be the latest star to join the next series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Show bosses are reportedly preparing a "mega deal" for the wife of England footballer Wayne Rooney to get down and dirty with the creepy crawlies in the Australian jungle.

The WAG, 30, has previously admitted to being a fan of the hit ITV show, hosted by Ant and Dec, and could be on board for the 16th series in November if the right pay is negotiated. Rooney has snubbed a number of reality show offers including Strictly Come Dancing, but hinted she would take part in I'm A Celeb...

The Daily Star reported Rooney claiming last week: "I get asked all the time to do those things. If I did anything it would be the jungle. It would be the only one I'd have a go at."

Proving she's not a typical WAG, she continued: "Having three boys and two brothers I'm quite an active person. I'm not scared about getting stuck in. I think everyone thinks I'm a girlie girl, but I don't mind getting my hands dirty."

Rooney, who is mother to sons Kai, six, Klay, three, and newborn Kit, wants to show that she's hard as nails underneath her polished and preened exterior.

The Liverpudlian, who is also a magazine columnist and product endorser, could be receiving a "big pay day" according to the Daily Star. And we're sure the viewing public would revel in Rooney partaking in Bushtucker trials, some of which could potentially include being buried underground with rats or swimming with alligators.

The WAG is no stranger to interacting with the public, having been a celebrity columnist for Closer magazine. She left Closer in 2008 and continued writing a weekly column for OK! magazine about style and news.

She's also tried her hand at presenting on Tonight with Trevor McDonald and her own ITV series, Coleen's Real Women, in which she was labelled "The nation's favourite girl next door," so it wouldn't come as a huge surprise if she were to snap up the I'm A Celeb... opportunity.

Other names circulating for the next I'm A Celeb... include Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt. There have also been rumours of The Wanted's Tom Parker joining the line-up along with Union J singer Josh Cuthbert.
