Real Madrid will look to extend their four-game winning run in all competitions when they face Deportivo Alaves at Estadio Mendizorrotza on 29 October.

Where to watch

Kick-off is set for 3.15pm BST. The game is not scheduled for live broadcast in the UK.

Overview

Goals from Xabi Prieto, Willian Jose and Carlos Vela condemned Deportivo Alaves to a 3-0 defeat at Real Sociedad on 22 October – the Basque outfit's third straight away defeat in La Liga. Alaves have lost their last five league encounters with Real Madrid.

On-loan midfielder Marcos Llorente will sit out the visit of Real as a clause in his contract bars him from playing against his parent club.

Alvaro Morata and Marco Asensio scored braces as Real Madrid thrashed Segunda B side Cultural Leonesa 7-1 in the first leg of the Copa del Rey round of 32 in midweek. Zinedine Zidane's side are yet to lose a match this season and have won their last four games at an aggregate score of 20-4.

Right-back Daniel Carvajal is suspended for the trip to Alaves. Sergio Ramos, Casemiro and Luka Modric all remain sidelined through injury.

What managers say

Mauricio Pellegrino: "I think Real Sociedad were better than us, so we should congratulate the opponent and move on. We did not create too many chances. Real moved the ball well and pressed us a lot. Their goal came at a right time, and it is normal that we could not maintain our intensity with the score at 1-0. When you play against rivals of such quality and you are not able to play against them as an equal, it becomes a learning experience."

Zinedine Zidane: "I liked all my players on the pitch tonight [against Cultural Leonesa], as always. We played a great game with a very serious attitude. Our opponents showed that they have quality and that they can hurt you if you let them play, as was the case with their goal. But we played our game and respected our rival so I'm happy."
