Fast And Furious 8 stars Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto Universal Pictures

Dwayne Johnson has teased the new look of Agent Luke Hobbs – the character that he plays in the latest Fast And Furious installment – on Instagram. The former WWE wrestler, who will be reprising his role as the government agent in Fast 8 shared a sneak-peek of a muscular Hobbs carrying a mean machine.

Johnson aka The Rock, referred to his character as "The Iceman" in his social media post. "The Iceman cometh. And I don't f***eth around," he captioned his image.

Dressed in a body-hugging black ensemble, the 44-year-old actor flexes his muscles as he poses for the image. If not for his deathly stare and hunky frame, Johnson sure captured the attention of fans with a massive machine gun that he is carrying in the image.

Overall, the characteristic set image featuring Agent Hobbs with his weapon against the icy backdrop makes Johnson appear like a total boss. Interestingly, this is the second time that American-Canadian actor has referred to his character in the Fast And Furious sequel as "The Iceman". Earlier, Johnson had shared the first look of his 'Ice Ram,' the monster vehicle that he uses in the action-packed movie, and described himself as "the Abominable Iceman".

Does this reveal anything about his character in relation to the crew of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel)?

It remains to be seen whether this reveals anything about his character in relation to the crew of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel).

Fans's best bet is to wait until 14 April 2017, when the film, directed by F Gary Gray, hits theatres. Fast 8 will see a mix of old and new faces as the gang moves from one exotic location to another, burning some serious rubber along the way. Among the Fast franchise staples are Diesel, Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Natalie Emmanuel, and Kurt Russell, while new cast members include Kristofer Hivju, Scott Eastwood, Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron.

Oscar-winning actress Theron will be playing Cypher, the film's antagonist. Speaking about bringing the 40-year-old actress on-board, Gibson had told ET, "What we pride [ourselves in] in The Fast and Furious [franchise] is a very diversified cast that's translating domestically and internationally in a major way. We have bits and pieces of power women in it, but we needed to bring it up a notch."
