Roberts was taken into custody in Canada, after hotel guests called the cops informing them of an altercation in the couple’s room.

Hollywood actress Emma Roberts was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly attacking her boyfriend Evan Peters and leaving him with a bloodied nose.

The 22-year-old star, who is the daughter of American actor Eric Roberts and niece of actress Julia Roberts, was taken into custody in the Canadian city of Montreal following a physical altercation with her actor boyfriend in a hotel room.

According to celebrity site TMZ.com, police were called to the couple's hotel room after guests complained of a disturbance.

Law enforcement officers are said to have arrived and found Roberts' American Horror Story beau with a bloodied nose and bite marks. Roberts was arrested immediately.

However, the Wild Child star was released just hours later, after Peters decided not to press charges.

"Officers on the scene reported light injuries to both people," a source told the New York Daily News. "The female suspect was arrested, but no charges were pressed in court so she was released. It is a closed case at this time."

Sources close to Roberts told TMZ that both parties physically assaulted each other after a disagreement. The insider also denied the Valentine's Day actress bit him.

Roberts has been dating Peters since 2012 after meeting on the set of Adult World and have been spotted in public displays of affection since becoming a couple.

Recent photographs of the pair have shown no indication of trouble in paradise and the reason for their fight is yet to be revealed.
