The UK is set to head to the polls on 23 June as an Remain/Leave referendum is held on Britain's continued membership of the European Union, with a number of businesses already declaring their views on why they think the British people should or shouldn't vote for a 'Brexit' (EU referendum live blog: follow here).

In the build-up to polling day, IBTimes went behind the scenes of one of Britain's most iconic companies, folding bike manufacturer Brompton Bicycle, to see what the company thought about Britain's membership of the EU and what affect a Brexit would have on the company.

Recent polls suggest the EU referendum is on a knife-edge, with the latest telephone opinion poll from Survation, of more than 1,000 people on 20 June, putting Remain on 45% (=) and Leave on 44% (+2), with 11% of respondents undecided.
