Eva Longoria is expecting her first child with husband Jose 'Pepe' Baston.

The former Desperate Housewives star, 42, is four months pregnant with the 49-year-old media mogul's baby, a rep confirmed to Us Weekly.

And that's not all the rep revealed, as the happy couple are expecting a baby boy.

Thrice-married Longoria wedded the businessman in Mexico on 21 May 2016. She counts actor Tyler Christopher and Spurs point guard Tony Parker as her ex-husbands.

This will be her third child, while Baston already shares three children – Natalia, 22, and twins Mariana and Jose, 14 – with ex-wife Natalia Esperon. The former couple also had a son together named Sebastian, but he tragically died days after birth in 2003.

Longoria was allegedly hinting at her happy news just a few weeks ago at the L'Oreal Paris 12th Annual Women Of Worth Event on 6 December, where she "kept touching her stomach" while posing for photos.

The actress has made no secret about wanting children in the past, revealing that she would love to hear the pitter patter of feet with Baston, who she has described as her "soulmate".

She told Ocean Drive: "Pepe and I are soul mates - I don't even know how to explain it, because it's like we're two different sides of the same coin. He's compassionate, kind, handsome - he's everything I wanted and didn't even know I wanted."

The prospect of having kids was a different story for Longoria back in 2014 when she was 39, however, as she told People: "It's just not in my future." She added: "With kids, I love their energy and spirit and innocence."

Fans have flocked to the star's social media pages to express their delight regarding her good news. One person commented on her latest Instagram snap: "Congratulations ! So happy for you ❤️".

While another added: "Hey beautiful I'm so excited that you're going to be a mom I think you're going to be a great mom."
