A substitute teacher in Ohio has been accused of having sex with at least two of her male high school students.

Madeline Marx, 23, was arrested at Kettering Fairmont High School on Wednesday (8 November) and charged with two counts of sexual battery relating to two 11th grade students.

Court documents say she admitted to also sending "several nude pictures" through Snapchat and Instagram to one of the students, WHIO-TV reported.

Marx is accused of performing oral sex on one of the students in July in the parking lot of Big Lots department store in Wilmington Pike, Kettering.

She is also accused of having sex with a second student in the parking lot of Van Buren Apartments in Smithville Road in September.

Police were notified of the allegations on Wednesday after a student became concerned about one of the alleged relationships and went to the school principal.

"We became aware [Marx] was possibly involved with inappropriate activities with a juvenile," Kettering Superintendent Scott Inskeep said.

"When we become aware of them then we will remove those people and not have them around our students."

Marx, of Brookville, was released from Montgomery County Jail on Thursday on condition she live with her father at his home while the case is ongoing.

According to state records, Marx was issued a four-year teaching license in 2016 to instruct grades K-12.

She graduated from the nearby Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School in 2012 and served as a substitute for the district this year and last year.

Her resume, obtained by WHIO-TV, lists Huber Heights, Oakwood and Dayton Public as other Ohio schools where she has worked.
