The cast and crew of Fifty Shades of Grey are all set to shoot the Honeymoon scenes of the film in Spain.

Following rumours that Dakota Johnson's real-life boyfriend is extremely jealous over the actress's love-making scenes with Jamie Dornan in the film, the production team has decided to shoot the 'intimate' sequence in Tenerife in the Canary Islands, according to Enstars.

"Fifty Shades of Grey producers know they have to make the screen version just as steamy as the novel to make it a success. They can't turn it into a Disney movie," a source told Star magazine, suggesting the location was an important factor in the film.

According to Digital Journal, the team will go to Tenerife for shooting the romantic rendezvous scenes, which will be followed by a move to Madrid for a business meeting scene. The team will also be filming a cameo by Alessandro Proto, the entrepreneur who served as inspiration for the creation of erotic billionaire Grey.

E.L. James's novel has sold more than 90 million copies worldwide despite receiving mixed and negative reviews. According to the publishers, Penguin Random House, over a million of those copies were sold in Spain last year, translated into the Spanish language, states the report.

Spain's Canary Islands are fast becoming a popular venue for Hollywood. The location was recently used for Ron Howard's In the Heart of the Sea featuring Thor star Chris Hemsworth. Some scenes of Ridley Scott's upcoming epic movie Exodus, starring Christian Bale, were also filmed at the same venue.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is scheduled to make its debut on the big screen on 13 February, 2015. The hype and buzz surrounding the film resulted in a number of fan-made trailers of the film going viral. Recently a red band trailer of the film was released on YouTube which seems to have really clicked with the fans, receiving over a 100,000 hits in a week.
