Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez has opened up about the couple's relationship in a candid interview with the Spanish edition of Hello!
The 22-year-old former shop assistant, who hails from the north east Spanish city of Jaca, gave birth to her first child with the Real Madrid star in November, a little girl named Alana Martina.
Rodriguez has been dating the football legend for approximately a year and a half, after Ronaldo reportedly spotted her at a Dolce & Gabbana party in 2016.
Now pursuing a modelling career as a result of her newfound fame, Rodriguez's most cherished role in life is a mother, to not only Alana Martina, but Ronaldo's three other children by surrogate – Cristiano Jr and twins Mateo and Eva.
Rodriguez spoke of the couple's life as parents, revealing: "Children are our joy. We wake up and the first thing we do is hug them and kiss them, take care of them and be aware of everything. So all day!"
Speaking of how they came up with their daughter's name, she said: "We chose it between the two. Cristiano chose Alana and I Martina, and to not hesitate more we decided to put the name to him composed by the election of both".
The new mother also made a comment on her relationship with Ronaldo, stating they are "better than ever". She continued: "Cristiano and I have a very nice relationship."
The couple's new daughter was born on 12 November, with Ronaldo excitedly sharing the first snap of the little one to his Instagram page.
He captioned the shot, which also included Cristiano Jr: "Alana Martina has just been born! Both Geo and Alana are fine. We are all very happy."
Since the birth, Rodriguez has wasted no time getting back into the gym to redeem her pre-pregnancy figure.
Working out in Ronaldo's CR7 Crunch Fitness gym in Madrid, Rodriguez shared a clip of herself in a squat position on a ball, already boasting a super-svelte frame.
Rodriguez's relationship with Ronaldo has blossomed over the past year, with the rising model attending several Real Madrid matches and accompanying him to the FIFA awards along with his mother, sisters and son.
