Overview

Reigning Davis Cup champions Great Britain come into this clash on the back of a 3-2 team win over Serbia in the quarter-final. Two singles wins for Kyle Edmund along with a win for the doubles team of Jamie Murray and Dom Inglot were enough for the team to scrape through to the semi-final round.

Great Britain will be spearheaded by world number two Andy Murray, who will be leading their charge with Evans, Edmund and Murray poised to give him support. The hosts come into this clash as favourites, considering they have players who are on the rise in the world of tennis. All eyes though will be on Murray, who is expected to be the star attraction come 16 September.

The returning Juan Martin del Potro too got into action, teaming up with Guido Pella to win their doubles clash. The Argentinians will be confident considering they have beaten Great Britain the last three times they have met.
