NFL star Jihaad Campbell appears to have reposted explicit content following a rough game Instagram/j1camp

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jihaad Campbell is facing online backlash following an alleged social media repost that surfaced shortly after the team's 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

A screenshot circulating on X appears to show a 'reposted by Jihaad Campbell' label above an adult video. Football Forever reported that Campbell had apparently reposted the material after Sunday's game. However, there is no confirmation that Campbell was responsible for the post, while the circulating screenshot has not been independently authenticated.

Neither Campbell nor the Eagles have publicly confirmed the authenticity of the alleged repost. As a result, the claim remains unverified and should be treated cautiously.

The screenshot nevertheless prompted a wave of reactions from NFL fans, with many using the alleged post to mock Campbell following Philadelphia's late collapse.

'Retweeted Throat Thursday on Sloppy Sunday? Vic needs to get these guys on the same page,' one fan on Reddit said.

'You would've thought he saw enough choking on the field,' another fan commented.

'This the least of his problems lol,' someone else wrote.

Eagles Surrender 10-Point Lead Against Rams

The online controversy arrived after a frustrating afternoon for Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles led 20-10 late in the third quarter but failed to score again as the Rams mounted a comeback. Kyren Williams scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, including the go-ahead score with 1:17 remaining, as Los Angeles completed the 24-20 victory.

Philadelphia's offence was particularly poor. The Eagles went 0-for-12 on third down and finished with only 172 total yards. Jalen Hurts completed 12 of 27 passes for 93 yards and two touchdowns, while the team failed to capitalise on several opportunities to put the game away.

Campbell, however, was not simply a bystander in the defensive collapse. The linebacker made nine tackles against the Rams and had an important pass deflection on a fourth-down attempt early in the fourth quarter. He was also involved in coverage when tight end Tyler Higbee gained 20 yards on a crucial Rams drive.

Campbell's Promising Career Faces More Scrutiny

Campbell entered the 2026 season with expectations after a promising rookie campaign.

Philadelphia selected the Alabama product 31st overall in the 2025 NFL Draft after moving up one spot to secure him. At Alabama, Campbell recorded 184 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks across 35 games. His final college season produced 117 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and five sacks, earning him first-team All-SEC recognition.

His first NFL season also provided plenty of encouragement. Campbell appeared in all 17 games, starting 10, and finished with 80 tackles, three passes defended, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery, according to Philadelphia's official statistics. He was subsequently named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team.

Through the opening weeks of 2026, Campbell has remained an important part of Philadelphia's defence. NFL statistics list him with 28 tackles and one sack entering the latest stage of the season.

For now, the alleged social media repost remains unverified. Campbell's actual performance, meanwhile, remains easier to assess — and the Eagles will need considerably more from the entire team after falling to 2-2 following another damaging late-game collapse.
