Kate Bush, one of Britain's most iconic voices, has cemented her comeback to music by announcing her first UK dates in 35 years.

The 55-year-old, best known for penning Wuthering Heights, Babooshka, Running up that Hill and This Woman's Work, is a celebrated artist and accomplished musician.

But rather that bask in the spotlight, the fiercely private mother-of-one prefers to let her music do the talking.

She has released 10 albums; the last was 50 Words for Snow in 2011.

Almost 40 years after releasing her first single she has sold more than 40 million records and her return to the stage is tipped to be one of the biggest music events of the year.
