A tabloid is claiming that Kate Middleton suffered a miscarriage and lost her second baby earlier this month.

According to 4 August edition of Globe magazine, the 32-year-old Duchess of Cambridge allegedly miscarried, soon after her childhood friend Jessica Hay told an Australian publication that Kate is expecting her second child with Prince William.

The Celeb Dirty Laundry report read: "She and William have reportedly been sticking together and supporting each other through this upsetting ordeal all while putting on a brave public face while celebrating George's first birthday. The couple has let it be known that they are hoping for three kids in about five years time and Kate has decided not to let this ordeal prevent her from trying again to expand their family."

Kate Middleton's pregnancy rumours have been rampant since the moment she and Prince William welcomed Prince George into their lives on 22 July last year.

Vanity Fair magazine's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, had previously said palace insiders claimed Kate and Prince William will reportedly try for a second baby this summer.

In March, OK! Magazine reported that Kate was pregnant with twin girls, and last month, InTouch Weekly claimed that she is already two months along with a baby boy.
