Keith Urban Reportedly Wants To Spend Christmas With Nicole Kidman After Being Iced Out of Hollywood
Former couple plan a family Christmas in Australia, reflecting their commitment to co-parenting post-divorce

Keith Urban reportedly wants to spend Christmas in Australia with Nicole Kidman and their daughters, months after their divorce was finalised, while other reports claimed the country singer had been 'iced out of Hollywood' after the split.
National Enquirer cited a source as saying that the former couple are speaking again and considering a shared family celebration.
Kidman and Urban separated in 2025 after nearly two decades of marriage, with Kidman filing for divorce in Nashville that September. Their divorce was finalised in January 2026.
Separate reports later claimed Urban had been 'iced out of Hollywood' after the split, although that account was based on unnamed sources and has not been publicly confirmed by Urban.
Keith Urban Christmas Plans Focus on Family Time
According to the report, Urban has suggested spending Christmas with Kidman in Australia alongside their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
The source said relations between the former spouses had improved, saying, 'Things have gotten so much better,' and adding that they were 'actually speaking again'.
Kidman and Urban have not confirmed the proposed gathering. The insider said Kidman would need to adjust her schedule, but was open to spending 'at least some of Christmas Day' together for the family.
The report said the idea reflects a promise the pair made to their daughters during the divorce. 'When they broke up, they promised the girls they would still spend special occasions together as a family and both Keith and Nicole do want to be true to their word,' the source said.
If the plan goes ahead, it would be the first Christmas the former spouses are reported to have spent together since their divorce. Kidman reportedly celebrated Christmas in Australia with their daughters the previous year without Urban.
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's Divorce Agreement
Kidman filed to end the couple's 19-year marriage, citing 'irreconcilable differences'. Under the former couple's parenting agreement, Kidman's home was designated as the primary residence for Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, while both parents retained joint responsibility for major decisions concerning their daughters.
The agreement also requires the former couple to 'behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced'.
That wording gives context to the reported Christmas discussions. It does not establish that a reunion will happen, but the terms governing their post-divorce arrangements included continued co-parenting and a stable family relationship.
Kidman and Urban first met in Los Angeles in 2005 and married in Sydney the following year. They later bought a home in Nashville. Sunday Rose was born on 7 July 2008, while Faith Margaret was born on 28 December 2010 via surrogacy.
Keith Urban Report Comes as Kidman Dates Again
The Christmas report emerged as Kidman was also said to have returned to dating. Separate reports linked the 59-year-old actress with private equity investor Michael Reinstein, with a source saying the relationship was casual and that Kidman was 'having fun'.
The source added that friends had also been setting Kidman up with other people.
The report described the relationship as casual and did not say it was exclusive.
Urban has also been the subject of reports about his relationship with his daughters and his standing in Hollywood after the split. The source discussing Kidman's dating life said she was 'doing really well now' and was 'happy', adding that it felt as though she was 'finally on the other side of everything'.
