Kim Kardashian has revealed that after years of feeling ashamed about the size of her bottom, she has grown to love her famous asset.

The reality star, who shows off her birthday suit in all its glory in the September issue of GQ magazine, claimed that when she was younger, being curvy was not deemed attractive.

But thanks to star Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea, larger derrieres are now desirable.

"I remember a time when big butts weren't in any way sexy," she said.

"I spent my college years stuffing myself into tiny jeans, wearing floaty tops to hide my muffin top."

Kanye West's wife is now grateful for her behind and admits her enviable figure has opened multiple doors for her.

She added: "I don't have anything against my butt. I've got a lot to thank it for perhaps."

While some critics claimed that Kardashian didn't deserve GQ's Woman of the Year Award, stripping nude to celebrate the win did go down well with fans.

"Seriously I'm in love," one admirer said of the spread, which was shot on a bed with pillows and crumpled sheets as her only props.

But how does the mother-of-one maintain her body? By only partying hard once a year.

"I would say I get wasted about once a year. Maybe once every two years. I just don't like feeling out of control."
