American socialite Kris Jenner and former Olympic star Bruce Jenner have separated after 22 years of marriage.

"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," they said in a statement via E! News, "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

The couple who got married in 1991 have two children together, Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16. The 57-year-old talk show host has four children from late husband Robert Kardashian - Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob. Bruce who was previously married to Chrystie Crownover and then to Linda Thompson has four children too - Brody, Casey, Brandon and Burt.

"Bruce has been living in Malibu full-time and spending a lot of time with his sons Brody and Brandon. Kris is firmly planted in Calabasas with her daughters," a source close to the family told TMZ.

Kris's younger sister Karen Houghton had previously confirmed that the two have split since some time now.

"[Kris and Bruce] are separated," Karen told In Touch, adding that he has "sought out a lawyer" but the two are still doing things together."

"Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together," she added.

Apparently, Kris also has flirty relationships with her own daughters' partners.

"I've heard she flirts with Scott [Disick, Kourtney's boyfriend] and Lamar [Odom, Khloé's husband] when she's drunk," she revealed.
