Liverpool and Everton are to battle it out for Dinamo Moscow winger Balazs Dzsudzsak, according to the Express.

The Reds are currently winning the battle for the winger, with Brendan Rodgers' side all but confirming a top four spot with their win over Sunderland at Anfield.

The 27-year-old is undecided over his future in Russia and wants to ply his trade in the Champions league, something which is still in the balance, with Dinamo currently third in the Premier League and facing a tough fixture list till the end of the season.

The report states that Liverpool had made a £12m bid for the winger last summer but had missed out on signing the player as he was unwilling to make the move to England.

However, with Liverpool set to return to Europe, it will be a different ball game this summer which shall see the Reds attract much more interest than in recent times.

The Reds were also linked with a move for Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka in January, but the move broke down owing to the club's insistence of keeping the player in Ukraine for the rest of the season.

Everton are also keeping a keen eye on the player and will make a move if Liverpool are not successful in their pursuit. The Toffees need a winger to replace Gerard Deulofeu who is set to return to Barcelona next summer.

However, with Arsenal slipping up, Roberto Martinez's team can have a fighting chance if they manage to beat the Gunners at Goodison Park next week, which will close the gap further, especially with Everton having a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are keeping their hopes alive of winning the Premier League title with a win over Sunderland at home in what turned out to be a nervy affair. A Steven Gerrard free-kick sealed the points for Liverpool as they look to April where they have to play Manchester City and Chelsea at home, to decide their title fate.
